Outpatient addiction treatment programs vary from fairly hands-off with one to two in-person treatment days to very involved with up to five in-person treatment days.
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are the perfect fit for anyone who is seeking outpatient treatment in order to continue with current employment or schooling but would like more days of in-person contact than outpatient programs usually offer.
If you or your loved one is considering beginning a recovery journey or would like to know more about the intensive outpatient (IOP) program, give us a call today. The team at Red River Healthcare is waiting to join you on the road to recovery.
Red River Healthcare’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an outpatient addiction treatment program that allows the patient to receive treatment while living at home and continuing to attend work or school.
IOP is usually the next step in treatment for patients who have completed the partial hospitalization program (PHP) as this transition continues to help the patients move back into their daily lives in small steps.
In the Intensive Outpatient Program at Red River Healthcare, patients continue living their daily lives while returning to the treatment facility three days each week for continued treatment.
On the days when patients are at the treatment facility, they participate in activities designed to help them confidently continue on the path to recovery and learn how to avoid relapsing while returning to the expectations and responsibilities of their usual lives.
As a patient in IOP, you would be able to live at home and continue work or school during treatment while still being held accountable through the three days per week with in-person treatment.
Through IOP, you will have the opportunity to learn many necessary skills for recovery including how to overcome everyday stressors and responsibilities through healthy coping mechanisms.
